The Scrapbook

Ok, so this is ancient. But I was so proud when I made it. It was in 2007, so before everyone had internet in their pocket. We’ve come a long way since, but back then, being a teenager who was learning on my own how to do web stuff, this was a big deal for me.

To “read” the book, press the cover title to open it, then navigate with the text and arrows.

The reason this was special is that I drew the book and pages (amazing talent, right?) and then forming links by adding coordinates to the html. Of course in today’s responsive web where everything resizes to fit the device, that would never work. But that was not relevant at the time. For that reason, this is also best viewed on a computer. Enjoy the cringe news paper clippings with me on the last page!
